Why Community Work Isn’t a Marketing Line

At Storm Master Exteriors, we don’t treat community involvement like a checkbox. For us, showing up isn’t branding, it’s just being present. We’re there because this is home. It’s where our kids play, where our families work, and where we plan to stay.

That’s the difference. We’re not rolling in from another zip code, trying to slap up roofs in places we don’t understand. We’re part of the neighborhoods we serve: Freeland, Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland. And we’ve got the team photos, fundraising shirts, and roofing sunburns to prove it.

Teams We Support

When you see our logo on the back of a jersey, know this: it’s not just a sponsorship, it’s a commitment. You’ll find Storm Master Exteriors out on the ice with Storm Master Hurricanes youth hockey team or rooting for the Saginaw Spirit at the Dow Event Center. We’re proud to back local sports programs like the Saginaw Valley State University Cardinals and the Saginaw Bay Riverdawgs travel teams, not because it’s good PR, but because we believe in giving kids the same kind of support we give our customers: consistent, local, and real.

These aren’t marketing partnerships; they’re relationships. They reflect the same values that define how we run our business: showing up, doing the work, and being part of something bigger than ourselves.

Events Where You’ll See Us

We don’t just sponsor events; we show up. You’ll spot our crew at neighborhood cleanups, museums, theaters, local sporting events, school fundraisers, and builder association meetings.

Trust doesn’t come from a yard sign; it comes from consistency. When our neighbors need roof work, they know they’re calling someone who’s already proven they care. The best way to earn credibility is to give back without expecting anything in return.

Who We Align With and Why That Matters

We’re proud members of the Home Builders Association of the Great Lakes Bay region and active with the Saginaw Chamber of Commerce and their many programs, such as Chamber Ambassadors, Chamber Diplomats and Young Professionals Network. These connections aren’t just about networking; they’re about accountability.

Being part of respected local groups means we hold ourselves to a higher standard, and that matters when our job is literally protecting people’s homes. Everything we do, from crew training to client service, is grounded in the values we live by in our community.

It’s Not Just Where We Work. It’s Where We Live.

At the end of the day, the best marketing is showing up without calling it marketing. We install roofs in the same neighborhoods where our kids play baseball and our families walk the dog. We’re not interested in being the biggest name in Michigan. We care about being the most trusted name in your town.

That’s why community work isn’t a side effort for us. It’s the foundation. If we’re not earning trust on the ground, then we don’t deserve to be on your roof.
